Once you’re feeling comfortable and excited to get started, we’ll begin your orthodontic exam. Your orthodontist, Dr. Scarborough or Dr. Loflin, will perform a full exam, including x-rays and diagnostic photos at no cost to you.
Your orthodontist will discuss your current condition, explain the treatment process in detail, and present your best treatment options to you. We’ll present the different types of braces we offer, and discuss Invisalign® treatment.

If you have orthodontic insurance, our team is happy to file your claims for you to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit. Our treatment coordinator will discuss your financial needs with you and work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget.
Yes, you can! We want your first visit to be as convenient and efficient for you as possible. Upon request, we reserve time in the schedule to start your treatment the same day as your complimentary consultation.
You can leave your first appointment with braces on your teeth, or your Invisalign scans complete. That means you miss less work and/or school!
