Dr. Scarborough is a lover of people, an experienced conservationist, a photography enthusiast, a proud philanthropist—and a believer in the power of a smile!
Dr. Scarborough has been recognized by Richmond Magazine as a “Top Orthodontist” the last 9 years running. He has received numerous accolades for his leadership skills and community involvement.
His patient-focused, community-centered philosophy echoes throughout our entire practice.
Education
Dr. Scarborough attended the Medical College of Virginia, the VCU School of Dentistry, where he studied four years of dentistry graduating summa cum laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.Â
He then was accepted to the nationally recognized VCU Orthodontic Residency Program here in our very own Richmond, where he received an additional two years of orthodontic training and a Masters Degree in Oral Biology.

Outside of the Practice
Dr. Scarborough and his family have lived in Richmond for the past 15 years and are very excited to be a part of the RVA community! He is a dedicated husband and father and in his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their two kids, Jackson and Sophia.
